May was an incredibly busy month with two open studio weekends and London art exhibition.
Setting up my studio as an art gallery where people have an opportunity to view my artworks and the space where they are created is a nerve wracking experience. Creating my oil paintings is such a personal process so coming along to my studio is like glimpsing into my soul. However, as soon as people walked through my studio doors with their warm smiles I relaxed and it was wonderful to see so many old friends and meet new ones.
Here are some of the lovely comments written in my visitors book:
“It pays to linger and look again, and again more closely….deeper and subtler layers of light & colour reveal themselves”
“Wow! Just Wow! What beautiful work and an amazing space. Thank you for opening your space and allowing us to experience your stunning art in the studio.”
“Thank you for the most beautiful, inspiring and enlightening day. Here’s to butterflies, dreams, our daily wishes and faith. To the exciting next chapter and endless happiness & smiles.”
“Utterly spellbinding, I’m lost for words”
London Connoisseur exhibited a selection of my works from May 23 – 30 and beautifully hosted a private view full of gorgeous and glamorous people in the amazing HR Owens Rolls Royce Showroom. It was so lovely to see great friends and new faces! Delicious Isle Of Harris Gin mixed by the ever lovely Amanda from ASAP Apothecary kept us all refreshed on a very hot evening!
If you are interested in buying an original oil painting it is always possible to arrange a private appointment at my studio. Email email@example.com for a price list of available works.
A selection of prints are available to buy from my online store but prints on paper, canvas and diasec can be created from any of the paintings in my fine art collections. Bespoke prints can be created in any size and crops too. Email Georgie firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07966 572204 to discuss your requirements. We will also be adding a collection of Lily Prints on different metals that were very popular at my open studio weekends…watch this space!
I am thrilled with my new biopic video made by Ross Jameson that gives an insight into why I paint.
