Autumn
Here are my autumn wishes that sum up everything I love about this glorious season.
Precious blue skies and sweet rain. More cosy moments after windswept walks. Sweet apples. Late roses. Rich colours. First fires. Glorious sunsets. Muted misty mornings. More cuddles as the world turns.
Autumn Print Collection
There is so much to love about autumn. I am endlessly fascinated by the changes in nature and love the cycles. The beauty both in decay and new beginnings. In the quiet dormant winter and smile filled exuberance of summer. Autumn is a special time of bounty. To me it is also a time of new beginnings, crisp clean air in the early mornings and magnificent sunsets. I have put together a collection of fine art limited edition prints from my fine art collections. My Autumn Print Collection includes some of my favourite paintings that remind me of this special time of year when the weather begins to get cooler and the nights longer, the transition into winter. I love mid- October with months of chilly days stretching out invitingly before me.
I am ready to embrace the cosy season!

This painting is all about finding harmony and balance. I need sunshine to make me smile but shadows are always created and hold their own mysterious beauty.

This painting is all about glimpsing wild nature beyond the storm clouds. My work is often about vistas hidden or particularly revealed. I love nothing more than walking through mountains in wild weather. It makes me feel completely alive and I believe that in those moments the wishes you make have more chance of coming true.

Sometimes you go to ancient structures and you do feel that incredible magic and the history and the energy of the people that have been there. Places like that have really touched me and so this oil painting is like a distillation of that feeling in a landscape that also evokes that sort of energy.

Storms, sea mist and sunshine through clouds might not be everyone’s idea of peaceful but to me it epitomises the times at which I feel most completely present and at ease.

This is a painting full of wishes for me. Some day I plan to create this flower surrounded wetland and sit and watch the most rising. Whenever I need to centre myself and find calmness I hold this wish in my mind.

These paintings are inspired by the glorious wilderness to be found in Scotland, we spent happy summers there when my girls were little, far from the bustle and crazy of our London lives. It was a special place of enchantment and adventure for us all.

Our family has a home in the foothills of the Cevenne mountains. It is a beautiful unspoiled area of southern France full of wild craggy rocks and wild herbs underfoot. It is a place of sanctuary for me and I have tried to capture that sense of peacefulness in these works.

Giveaway Terms & Conditions
Start date is 12am, 19th October 2017 and the closing date is 12am, 9th November 2017. The winner will be notified by email. The winner will need to provide a postal address so we can arrange delivery. If the winner does not respond with a postal address within 2 days of contact the giveaway will be re-drawn and the prize re-allocated. The winner must have fulfilled the mandatory requirements. The prize is not transferable and there is no monetary alternative.
