I am delighted to be marrying the love of my life next spring! This week we’re in Venice having the most extraordinary and magical adventure to celebrate our engagement and my birthday.
I feel as if I am living in a fairy tale and I truly believe that if you wish hard enough dreams can come true! This story began a very long time ago when I was 21 and still a student travelling the world. I met the most wonderful and romantic man, a pilot who taught me to fly and ski and who rescued me from China in 1989. We were utterly inseparable but sadly my life and career pulled me back to England and he couldn’t leave Australia, both heartbroken we didn’t speak again for 25 years, until last November when he came to find me! You may have noticed I have been doing a great deal of travelling in the last year, we have been making up for lost time!
Organising a wedding is so exciting and of course I want it to be completely beautiful! When it all comes together and the people we love the most are all with us we will have created our perfect special day. If you have any special wedding stories or suggestions please do let me know!
