Setting Up My London Solo Show

By September 12, 2013January 18th, 2018Blog

On Tuesday I spent the day with the lovely Juliette Loughran and her assistant Millie from the Loughran Gallery setting up my London Solo Show – ‘Dancing With Colour’

I had carefully packed up fifty of my paintings the previous evening in a lorry. It was huge relief to hear from Juliette on my way to Battersea  that the precious cargo had arrived safely and been unpacked.

Deciding where to hang and place paintings for an exhibition is always an exciting process. Paintings talk to each other and which ones sit next to, or opposite others is what makes the show complete.

Luckily we have the most fabulous space for my art work to live for the next month. With the huge windows and natural light coming from the river the paintings really do come alive and literally ‘dance with colour’!

A huge thank you to the Intarya team, we have taken over their space for the next month and they made us feel so welcome.

By the end of the day the works were in place and half had already been hung by David who was the perfect person to have on our team!

I am now feeling slightly more relaxed!  and incredibly excited!! Can’t wait for my London  Solo Show to start next Wednesday September 18th.
