I have absolutely loved being back in my studio over the last few months. To escape from the hustle and bustle of day to day life and just paint is such a joy!
It is so lovely to paint without any sense of a deadline and completely instinctively. Not having to worry about when the paint will be dry is so liberating! Working on such a huge scale is so exciting! I feel I am learning so much everyday and can’t wait to get into my huge new studio so I can really go crazy! I wasn’t planning to paint lilies this time but they just seem to keep leaping in to my work. I think that must mean I am happy!
I am calling my new collection, Playtime and am planning on launching it next spring. Every day I am literally playing with beautiful, wild colours and thick gorgeous oils. If you follow me on Facebook or on Pinterest you will be able to see how this latest collection grows and evolves.
