I have recently been working with gold oil paints. I love the shimmering, iridescent effect this metallic oil brings to my canvases, adding a glimmering magic to the jewel colours.

My works are directly inspired by this blue iguana skin and decaying gunnera manicata leaves after the frozen winter.

It offers a timeless glamour and when paired with blues and pinks can transform a room.
