Twenty six of my paintings have been packed up and shipped to Cape Town for the Passion and the Still Life exhibition at the Southern Guild Gallery. 27th February – April
“As the winner of the 2014 ELLE Decoration British Design Award for ‘Best British Pattern,’ it’s an honour to exhibit her original oil paintings alongside the work of talented local designers,” says Southern Guild co-founder Trevyn McGowan
My works will compliment the ‘Still Life’ a curated selection of ceramics, sculpture, glass and curiosities by South African designers including work from Imiso Ceramics, Atang Tshikare, Dokter and Misses and Bronze Age Foundry.
Passion and the Still Life will run concurrently with Southern Guild’s international design fair, GUILD. More than just a fair for beautiful objects, GUILD represents limited edition design from internationally renowned galleries, designers and artists. My work is represented by leading design author Helen Chislett’s gallery London Connoisseur.
Condé Nast House & Garden Magazine will be hosting the launch party on February 27 th.
I am incredibly excited about being in Cape Town and seeing my work presented in such a beautiful space. It will also be wonderful to meet the local artists exhibiting with me and interior designers that I have only met virtually!
