I have some thrilling news to share with you.
Passion 2 from my ‘Passion’ collection is going to be hung in the drawing room designed by Mary Fox Linton at the “Wool House”. The biggest ever celebration of wool will be hosted in Somerset House, 13th – 24th March 2013.
This is the first time Campaign for Wool are holding an event with such a large interiors focus.
The Campaign for Wool has appointed stylist and art director Arabella Mcnie as curator of the event which will showcase interiors, fashion, artisan and craft making all featuring wool in a modern, visionary way.
The event has invited leading interior designers to offer their vision. Exclusive room sets from Donna Wilson, Ashley Hicks, Josephine Ryan, Anne Kyrro Quinn, Mary Fox Linton and Kit Kemp will feature alongside a huge wool art installation commissioned by the Campaign from the acclaimed Dutch tapestry artist, Claudy Jongstra.
As well as the interiors side of the event, there will also be 3 dedicated fashion rooms and an artisan room where there will be a contemporary rug weaver, Jason Collingwood, in residence.
The event will be free to enter, and every day there will also be events hosted by magazines, retailers, colleges and trade organisations.
Will you be going to this fabulous exhibition that I am so delighted to be part of?
