First staged in 2003, the London Design Festival is one of the world’s most important annual design events. The Festival programme is made up of over 400 events and exhibitions staged by hundreds of Partner organisations across the design spectrum and from around the world.
Running from 17-25 September 2016, The London Design Festival is a nine day celebration of London as the capital of design
In previous years I have exhibited at Decorex International its a truly inspirational event showcasing the very best of luxury design.
This year, Decorex International will explore the roots of design, considering the origins, the processes involved and examining the influences and influencers that continue to shape and set the tone for the industry today.
Decorex International, Syon Park from 18-21 September 2016
I am hoping to go along to Decorex International this year as a visitor rather than an exhibitor. Also on my list is a visit to the Victoria and Albert Museum.
The V&A will showcase a range of commissioned activity incorporating sculptural materiality, large-scale performance engineering and multi-sensory experiences alongside talks and workshops. The 2016 programme at the V&A is set to inspire and engage while heralding creative design disciplines through the return of the annual Global Design Forum and the popular Digital Design and Graphics Weekends.
I would love to hear what events you’ll be going to during the festival.
