Thank you so much to everyone who came along to the Playtime Launch Party at the Loughran Gallery on Tuesday.
I am always incredibly nervous before my shows. Having worked on the pieces for so long they mean so much to me and are such a huge part of my life. It is like having part of my soul on display!! I always want my work to make people happy and seeing so many smiling, familiar faces and meeting many new ones who made the effort to come out on a stormy May evening was simply wonderful!
To coincide with the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Garden designer Nicholas Obolensky created a wonderfully-scented, delicate installation for the gallery window. With soft hydrangeas in earthy ceramic pots and lovely jasmine trailing up to frame Where Magic Happens perfectly!
Playtime at the Loughran gallery, Motcomb street is now open to the public until June 14th. The many already sold works will be regularly swapped for new unsold pieces, so each visit will be different.
However, if you can’t make it there are many other ways to see Playtime. As a short film, book and the entire collection is on my website.
