Instagram was the last social network I joined after Facebook, Twitter then Pinterest. I love them all but Instagram has become my favourite. I love the simplicity of it. You don’t need to be a super talented photographer or use an expensive camera, you just need a smartphone handy when you see something lovely. A view, a quirky corner, an old boat …something that will make people think, feel and smile. I love how Instagram has become my Photo Journal, little stories of my daily life, travels, home and work.
Instagram is also a wonderful way to discover more about where I live and follow other photo journals.

AS. APOTHECARY is a small batch distiller, maker of aromatic waters, perfumes, balms and creams, gathering plants in Sussex, Isle of Harris and the Levant.
Founder Amanda captures the light so delicately in her photographs and her Instagram feed is a delightful visual story of nature and the creation of her natural scents, creams, aromatic waters and balms. The new AS.APOTHECARY shop and therapy room opens at the end of month in Lewes..I can’t wait!
A Polite Preamble Sam seems to love East Sussex as much as I do, appreciating her surroundings and connecting with the natural world.
Acitygirlatheart she may be but I enjoy her seeing her happy moments by the Sussex sea and in the Sussex countryside.
IG_Sussex is a curation of photos taken in Sussex from different Instagram accounts. I have traveled extensively the last couple of years but when I scroll through this feed I feel truly blessed that I live in one of the most beautiful places in the world!
