This week I hung a selection of new works (including ‘Joyful Lilies’ above), limited edition prints and Midsummer Dreaming on diasec (which I am so delighted with!) in the Symposium Wine Emporium.
The exhibition is part of the fabulous Artwave festival that started this month in the Lewes District.
I will also be showing my work at Holly House August 24, 25 & 31 September 1, 7 & 8 12 – 6pm or by appointment.
Georgie aka – City Girl At Heart– spent an evening at Symposium this week and I wanted to share her lovely blog post with you:
‘Last night hubbie and I spent a lovely evening at the Symposium wine bar opposite Lewes station.
We’d been meaning to go for ages and when I heard that Jessica Zoob was exhibiting there during August there was no stopping us!
Symposium is an independent wine retailer as well as a wine bar so you can drink in or away!
They have an amazing selection of well priced and thoughtfully chosen wines.
Owners Rob and Henry are the perfects hosts and really know their stuff, their passion for wine is infectious. I love wine and know what I like and don’t like but that’s the extent of my knowledge.
Having lived in France for so long it was great to try something other than a ‘Cote du Rhone’
This New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc had loads going on, amazing flavours and at £11.95 a bottle it’s amazing value for a such a special wine especially when you’d pay the same for a very average bottle of plonk at a pub!
Feeling peckish we then demolished a delicious, locally sourced meat and cheese platter washed down with a super smooth New Zealand Pinot Noir and a gentle Valpolicella.
Jessica Zoob’s new works, limited edition prints and stunning ‘Midsummer Dreaming’ on diasec fit the Symposium space perfectly. They totally belong here, relax into the walls.
Images to dream into while you sup wine and chat with friends.’
If you get a chance to visit the charming Symposium Wine Emporium too then do let me know what you think
