Discovering Lovely Things

By November 13, 2014October 30th, 2017Blog

I have decided to embrace the Autumn gloom this week by discovering lovely colourful and creative things.

A weekend in Devon was packed full of art inspiration to take back to my studio

Grayson Perry vase

Grayson Perry turned his attention to identity on Channel 4’s Who are You?  creating portraits – from tapestries to sculptures and pots – of diverse individuals who are all trying to define who they are. This is a representation of Chris Huhne. Grayson Perry felt the smashing & glueing of this ceramic made it more ‘vulnerable’ I agree…beautiful piece.
