Creating a Dream Garden

By June 23, 2016February 15th, 2018Blog, Inspiration

This week hasn’t felt much like summer especially Monday, the longest day of the year and the summer solstice. This coincided with the strawberry moon, a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence, so-called because it marks the beginning of the strawberry season. Sadly it was too overcast to see the moon Monday night but the garden is loving the rain!

Having lived in a town house with a small courtyard for the last ten years I am beyond excited to now have a country cottage with 12 acres of garden and land. I have dreamed about a garden for a long time and my dreams have provided inspiration for my artworks.  Five of my oil paintings are named after ‘dream gardens’

Now I have the opportunity to make my dreams come true! I have so many plans and as usual Pinterest is one of my favourite online destinations to seek ideas and inspiration! I am collecting inspiring images for my perfect country garden on my Dream Garden Pinterest board

There are some beautiful gardens in Sussex that I also love to visit and am always inspired by. You can watch my latest video portrait for some glimpses of my garden. Watch this space for updates!
