Artwave Open House Festival 2014

The countdown is on to the Artwave Open House Festival that runs over three weekends from 22nd August – 7th September.

The festival covers the historic town of Lewes, the coastal towns of Seaford and Newhaven and picturesque villages of the South Downs and beyond.

Now in its 21st year, Artwave is one of the biggest and most vibrant open house festivals in the East Sussex calendar. Almost 100 venues open their doors to reveal works in all media by over 400 artists and makers.

This will the 7th year I have been part of this fabulous festival. Last year there was an overwhelming response to my work. I can’t wait to open my door again and introduce my latest collection Playtime that I am incredibly excited to preview.

This year I will be hosting a special First Friday Preview on 22nd August from 5-9 pm. All visitors will be entered into a free prize draw to win one of my Original Miniatures. There will also be lucky dip goodie bags with cards, Ipad cases, Tote bags, and prints as prizes! I have had an amazing year and definitely feel like celebrating so do please pop in!

The list of venues and artists is now up on the Artwave website. The festival showcases a melting pot of talent and creativity with a huge range of works in all types of media from 400 artists and creatives in up to 100 different venues.

Having looked through the list I feel so privileged to be in such wonderful company and to be part of such a warm and welcoming event. There are some intriguing venues and a visit to the Artwave Open House Festival really does make a great day out!
