Art Inspiration In Italy

By June 18, 2015October 30th, 2017Blog, Inspiration

Since the launch of my Playtime collection I have been off exploring Europe. My travels have taken me to Turkey, Spain and this week I returned from an unbelievably inspiring stay in Italy’s glorious Tuscany.

We were based in southern Tuscany where every stunning landscape looked like an oil painting.  Such astonishing, fairy tale views!

Beautiful Tuscany

Pienza is one of the most beautiful European villages I have ever seen exuding serenity and beauty. The beautiful renaissance architecture and sculptures took my breath away!

I fell in love with the medieval spa town of Bagno Vignoni and the peaceful Tuscan hill town of Certaldo.

We stumbled across this incredibly beautiful medieval palace in Certaldo. So utterly inspiring!

Beautiful ancient crumbling walls at every turn:

The bicycles were my favourite captures. Backstreet street art Italy style!

Now feeling inspired to paint my next collection. Time to get back in my studio!
