Last month I met some wonderful bloggers and made lovely new friends at the Amara Interior Blog Awards. I invited them to share their stories on my little corner of the internet and first up is Monica from gorgeous luxury interior blog – Style loves home

Hello dear readers, it’s Monika from Style loves home here with a guest blog post!

It was so lovely to meet Jessica at the last Amara Blog Awards, such a pleasure to meet her and other shortlisted fellow bloggers for an evening in the beautiful Ham Yard Hotel!
I was equally happy to discover Jessica’s amazing art.
I believe your home should reflect who you are and you should surround yourself with what make you happy. Jessica shares the same philosophy, creating artworks that evoke emotions and fit beautifully within contemporary and traditional homes.

If you ask any interior designer they will tell you an idea for a room often starts with something small, an accessory, a pattern and often – an artwork. It can set the mood of the space and be a great source of inspiration for the colour scheme and style. Installed in the room, it will make it whole, often a focal point and a conversation starter!
The mood-board I put together is inspired by a print called “Beloved Place”, one of my favourite pieces from Jessica’s collection in soft blues with hints of pinks and reds. I imagined it in a bright pastel living room or bedroom with soft textures and gold metal accents, completing and enhancing the whole! I hope you like it!!

xx Monika
