Entitled Playtime, Jessica Zoob’s new collection celebrates the exuberance, unexpectedness and sheer heady enjoyment of life. These are canvases that vibrate with energy and encapsulate her passionate and bold approach to her work. In 2013, the Loughran Gallery had the pleasure of hosting Jessica’s previous collection, Dancing With Colour, which was a huge success both with her core fans and those new to her work. Playtime continues Jessica’s themes of exploration, adventure, passion and uncompromising joy. These are canvases that jump, sing and fizz with excitement. It is as if she is reminding us that if ever there were a need to rediscover our sense of play, it is now.
